		<description>1.2.0 was released on 11/24/2008 and 1.2.1-beta was released on 12/25/2008 ... Have you tired any of these yet? I&#039;ve been wondering if they are stable enough to work as a secondary cache. IE. If Memcached doesn&#039;t have the cache it will resort to MemcacheDB, if MemcacheDB doesn&#039;t have it will grab it from the database and then set both Memcached and MemcacheDB. I&#039;m looking to store data long term such as data that rarely changes but accessed often.</description>

		<description>Definitely check out memcachedb v1.0.3. We&#039;ve been using it with replication for 2 months now without problems. v1.1 is in beta now, and should bring the project to a nice place w.r.t. features and configurability.</description>
